Media Player

Media Player is here to help you to select your sample. Use Jump to Position to make the Media Player start at a precise point. You can set it in milliseconds or HH:MM:SS.

Use the Now buttons to set a field at the current position of the Media Player. Use the little "play" buttons to start media player from the points you have set in these fields.

Normalization

Normalize allows you to change the amplitude and the offset of the signal. It is recommended to check the box after having visualized the graph for the part of the signal you want to split. Wave Splitter will then show the Amplitude and the Offset coefficients it has computed. You can modify the values manually.

Graph Panel

Graph

This graph represents the signal of the input wav file. The scale is determined by the values "Start view at" and "End view at". To set these, you can either set the values manually or use your mouse. A single left-click sets the "Start view at" value, a single right-click sets the "End view at" value. A double-click on the graph makes Wave Splitter play the wav file from where you click.

"View At" Fields

Start View At and End View At fields show the values of the start and end points you want to visualize. You can set them manually or use left and right click directly on the graph. To see the interval you have defined, press on the Zoom In button.
